We’d like to thank all our wonderful clients, suppliers and partners for their continued support throughout 2011, and for giving us the opportunity to work on some fantastic projects.

And what a year it’s been! The last 12 months have seen us celebrate our first birthday, grow by 50%, be nominated for 4 major awards and receive a commendation at the Cream awards for our work with Jagged Globe.

We’ve also been lucky enough to work on an amazing campaign for UNICEF Inspired Gifts. In fact, we were so inspired by it that we decided to purchase a special Christmas gift on behalf of all of our clients and suppliers – a water pump that will supply clean, safe water to an entire third world community.

Craghoppers appoints We Are

We are pleased to announce that travel and outdoor clothing specialist, Craghoppers, has appointed us to handle its direct marketing activity following a four-way-pitch.

We will be producing the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter catalogues, alongside a new website, online advertising, email marketing and recruitment. We will also be producing the direct communications for the Bear Grylls clothing range Spring-Summer campaign in the UK and US.

We are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside a brand with such a fantastic pedigree and rich heritage. And we are looking forward to helping them produce strong creative, strategic and tactical campaigns.

Commendation at the Cream Awards

We are absolutely ecstatic that we picked up a commendation at the Cream Awards last night for our work with world renowned expedition company, Jagged Globe. Yvette and Jemma donned their fancy frocks and nipped down to the not-too-shabby Park Plaza in Leeds to rub shoulders with the regions best creative talent, drink copious amounts of wine and pick up the prestigious acknowledgement.

Hopefully it will be the first of many!

A run for their money

Just a quick note to say a HUGE thanks to all who sponsored Andy and Bew at this years’ Great Yorkshire Run, it’s really appreciated.

It was an amazing day, the sun was shining, the atmosphere fantastic. And not only did we both manage to make it round in under an hour and finish in the top 3,000 (there were 8,500 runners y’know!), but we also raised a massive £800 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, a great worthy cause.

Huge excitement here at Velocity House as we welcome two new peeps to the We Are family.

Oliver Brown, design, web and multimedia superstar joins the studio fresh from RE:MEDIA and Jordon Handley, super-sharp account manager extraordinaire joins the client services team from digital heavyweights, 20:20 Agency.

Both have brought so many awesome skills to the party that we’ve also had to move to a bigger office to accommodate them all.

In addition to the three major awards that we’ve already been nominated for, we’ve just found out that we’ve been short-listed for a fourth!

Our work with Jagged Globe on their 2011/12 expedition brochures has been nominated for a Cream Award. Needless to say, we are very honoured and very very excited!!

Triple Award Nominations

We are extremely proud to have been nominated for no less than three prestigious awards for our work with moneysupermarket.com.

The DADI Awards, The Personnel Today Awards and The Recruitment Business Awards have all short-listed us, (along with some of the country’s most creative and strategic agencies), to receive a nice shiny trophy.

The awards ceremonies will be happening soon, so we’ll keep you posted.
